A game about pressing buttons and watching numbers go up.

A chill base-building adventure prototype I've been working on

This thread is for people to post their works in progress, and for others to give (constructive) criticism and feedback.

Explain if you want feedback on your game as a whole, a specific feature, or even on an idea you have for the future. Please keep discussion of each game to a single thread, in order to keep things focused.

If you have something to post, please remember to comment on other people's stuff as well, and also remember to include a link to whatever you have so far. :)

Hi everyone !

As we are getting closer to release I want to show the work I made during the past two weeks !

Only one last content is missing : The companion Gacha // companion skills & animations to make the idle scene much more attractive,

A few screenshots of the game again !

Dungeon Content

Gear content rework (Filters)

Added a ranking List !

Added a reward screen after the dungeon !

Now you can start to compete against other players (the ranking does not refresh properly yet, I still have a few errors to correct, your own progress gets updated every hour, or every new app opening)

You can now lock your gear // sell your gear // level your gear by killing enemies while equipped,

Also now when deleting the app, you will not loose your data, it will get loaded back from the server (if reinstalled on same device you logged in as guest, or if you log in with a playfab account)

Again I am sorry to post an apk, I didn't spend enough time to check how to get in on the playstore and it got refused again due to some compatibility issues,On iOS TestFlight everything worked perfectly :)

Thanks for all the support I got over the last few weeks, the feedback helps me make the game better and better !

You can find the links to the test versions on my itch : https://mksidev.itch.io/idle-beast-hunter

Have a good weekend everyone :)

Hey all, I've been working on a game similar to Tour of Heroes for the past month and am now far enough into development that I'd like to gather feedback on its gameplay.

Gameplay:

The game loop is to do Activities, manage your resource (Days), and try to increase your character's level so that your next run will be easier. There is an RPG element where you fight monsters and obtain loot to help you progress through the game.

Goals:

There is an ending. It follows a storyline and is split into Chapters. Chapter 1 is relatively short. It's still a WIP at the moment, but I do want for there to be an ending. Achievements and an endless mode will also be available for those who wants to keep pushing their limit.

Monetization:

The plan is to have it be completely free. No MTX and no Ads.

Supported Devices:

I've only tested the game in Chrome myself, but I hope to have it ported to Steam and mobile.

If you have any questions or feedback, my Discord is: https://discord.gg/aXa8MBYh3A

You might remember when we (u/willunited) posted about US2 launch here. A lot of you guys liked it, even tho we had a hard launch, with some performance issues and crashes.

Since then, a lot have changed. Recently we added universes, which change the game quite a bit and offers great challenge. We also just introduced performance patch, which speeds up the loading of the game by about 30% and absolutely eliminated ANR crashes for us. Before that, we were always above the play store threshold, which is 3%.

We also made it a lot easier for users to sync and share their saves cross platform.

Some statistics because why not:

Top 5 countries:

  1. Russia
  2. USA
  3. Poland
  4. Germany
  5. Brazil

Avg star rating: 4,58

300-500 downloads per day.

We are just 5000 downloads away from 200k.

Hi!
I am an indie game dev, building an idle game based on a king's story where he has to build up his clan, use resources to manage the kingdom (houses, farming, army), and choose to conquer nearby kingdoms on a map!

I am still in the early processes of developing this game - and would love to hear your thoughts and ideas on this.

Hey all!

Been a fan of this sub and genre for a long time, and thought it was finally time I put my ideas into action.

As the title suggests, this is a game loosely inspired by Monster Hunter's progression of gathering resources so you can take down a monster, and using that monster's resources to take down the next one more efficiently. However, since this is an incremental, the emphasis is much more on that 'efficiency' rather than ability. It lends itself much more to active play, and has a gathering/town-building phase before any combat truly begins.

Everything is very much WIP and an early alpha, and I'd appreciate feedback on anything from pacing to bugs to UI to mechanics! I plan to update this version weekly, and make sure that save files are compatible between versions as much as possible (barring a complete overhaul).

Current End-of-Content is after the final village upgrade, and new armor will be available to craft but will most likely be currently unequippable.

Specifically for steam idles. On pc I can easily boot up cheat engine and just tick the speed option. Was hoping there's a way to do this in gaming mode on steam deck as well
Anyone got any leads?

Just always thought the way "Power levels" were prevalent at one time in DBZ
gave me the idea for a dbz based incremental game.
figured it might look somewhat similar to idling to rule the gods or wizard and minion idle
or even some inspiration from Ngu idle.

You could start in the early days of dragon ball either as a unique character implemented in the story and you take on various characters throughout the series
and unlock various "training methods" to get your power level up

Obviously a very basic explanation but if this resonates with anyone
drop some more ideas on what a good dragon ball incremental game might have.
