I also get reminded more and more of the Provisional Government's buffoonery in Ten Days That Shook The World
It did very poorly in the box office back when it came out, though I don't know how much money it has made since as the cult classic it became.
There was also an anime adaptation called Scott Pilgrim Takes Off which takes the story in a very different direction, that came out a year and a half ago.
Also Micheal Cera wasn't right to play Scott, who was often filled with oblivious confidence and charm instead of Micheal Cera awkwardness in the books, but I imagine he was selected because he was the most high-profile young male Canadian comedic actor at the time
If people really believed in miasma theory they'd mask! It's more like worshiping the right idols will keep illness at bay.
