Is it possible some of this has to do with climate change? Has our atmospheric condition changed enough to be perceptable as a shift in the Suns light?

This has seriously fucked me up. Season 3 got me so hopeful, I've fallen in love with the cast, I've advocated for the show to my peers and it just sucks that it's gone.

This sucks. Road to the Spear was everything the show needed to be. Personally I recommended the show to a good dozen people who read the books or who would enjoy the series and between them all they watched 0 episodes. No one even bothered to give it a shot.

I really enjoyed the very start of the module. The setup worked for me and it got me hooked quickly.

Still kind of vagueThe proxy-investigation stage was less well received. Our group struggled with this and missed some key details in our note taking. This led us to go in perhaps even blinder than intended.

Going to second the recommendation to wait until you're older since your brain will be more fully developed and less impacted. Since the other comments haven't really touched on the how I thought I would speak to that. You've got a couple of different options depending on your needs.

A very cheap entry point would be a pipe, lighter, and a grinder, then you would get some flower grind it and smoke. The exact breathing and covering process can take a few tries to get right, but if you look up a video you'll have it in no time. This option is pretty smelly, as you are combusting flower, so if you want to be discreet I recommend airtight storage and a change of clothes for yourself. If you don't want to keep a pipe you could buy cones for rolling joints.

For a bit more you can get a cheap dry herb vape, which I would recommend. Doesn't combust so the smell fades faster and its not as rough on your lungs. For this you'll just need the vape and the grinder.

You could also go for carts and oil/resin vapes, but I wouldn't trust random carts so not really recommended. For this you'd probably want a 510 battery to smoke carts purchased somewhere reputable. If you go this route live rosin is less bad for you but goes bad faster and is pricier.

When it comes to where, I recommend outdoors somewhere secluded and private. Look for somewhere that will hide you and won't blow the smoke down to a populated place. Big bonus if its somewhere you're comfortable since that will lower your chances of having a bad time with your high.

Stay safe, remember its not worth drawing police attention just to get high.

Our group did Observer Effect, Kali Ghati, and Iconoclasts along with a few others. Had some really memorable moments. In Iconoclasts I ended up living only through equipment failure. My nightvision failed and saved me from seeing things that would have made me insane and I stumbled out alone in dark through blind luck. Highly recommended

Not down for the game, but just wanted to wish luck on your aspiring agents. Delta Green is a great experience

Every person with ADHD I have met has related heavily to my struggles with simply staying on my prescribed medication, you should reevaluate what you think you know about the disorder because you seem really ignorant.

So with season 3 of the show fast approaching and a general idea of the material it will cover what are you looking forward to seeing on screen? What scenes do you think they might fumble and which are impossible to screw up?

For myself I think I'm most looking forward to Road to the Spear. Book 4 is my favorite and I think this will be incredible on screen. I'm also looking forward to seeing the battle of Emond's field, and hopefully the first appearance of the Finns with Matt. I feel like Perrin finding out about his family is going to be heartbreaking and I don't think they can mess that up even. I'm more worried about iconic scenes in the Wastes like the meeting at Alcair Dal, and Perrin's meeting with Noam.

So how about all of you? What are you looking forward to?

I was reminded on a lemmy post today of Little Duck's Disruption dialogue where she says

"Looks like Alad was so keen to make the sale, he didn't close every back door. Greed makes a person sloppy, hotshot, remember that. Enjoy the boost."

That got me thinking and I was curious what other Tenno's favorite mission dialogues are. Could be theme for a whole mission or one line. Fittingly I think my favorite is probably Little Duck in disruption, though Conjunction Survival gets an honorable mention with

"The Grineer and Corpus came here in search of treasure but only found oblivion. They are trespassers here. You are not.

And of course who can forget the terror of Mott itself Corrupted Vorr's speech haha

So I was wondering if anyone else had favorite chapters of the whole series, or sequences of chapters. For example Road to the Spear and Dedicated are incredible and some of my favorite chapters, but when I really want to feel things I listen to "A visit from Verin Sedai" through to "The Tower Stands". That sequence is moving and uplifting and tragic all rolled together. Another honorable mention goes to Perrin's conversation with Boundless in the Towers of Midnight epilogue which made myself and my trans partner cry ugly tears.

So what are your favorites and why?

Explanation:

spoilerIn the end, when the king's men come to destroy their lives, Thorgil doesn't have the courage to surrender and accept the consequences, while Olmar seeing the devastation finally realizes that it was a lack of courage that got him here https://youtu.be/yoMdeLqbs98

I know there is a lot of doom going around. I certainly feel it. It feels like every fearful anxious nightmare has come to pass and like we are headed into oblivion. It's okay to feel that, it's okay to need some time to get back up.

That said, the fight isn't over. We're on the ropes, we've taken a beating, our leaders have failed us yet again, and our neighbors are actively pushing for the end, but the fight isn't over until we die or give up. Its not much of a meme, but I listen to these words from Andor when I need to remind myself, hopefully they'll find someone who needs to hear them today.

There will be times when the struggle seems impossible. I know this already. Alone, unsure, dwarfed by the scale of the enemy. Remember this. Freedom is a pure idea. It occurs spontaneously and without instruction. Random acts of insurrection are occurring constantly throughout the galaxy. There are whole armies, battalions that have no idea that they've already enlisted in the cause. Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward. And then remember this. The Imperial need for control is so desperate because it is so unnatural. Tyranny requires constant effort. It breaks, it leaks. Authority is brittle. Oppression is the mask of fear. Remember that. And know this, the day will come when all these skirmishes and battles, these moments of defiance will have flooded the banks of the Empire's authority and then there will be one too many. One single thing will break the siege. Remember this. Try.
