You probably can't. This is a boundary for him and a better approach to this might be to get a better understanding of where he's coming from (if needed) and respect that boundary.

A lot of yarn. A few motorcycle jackets and pants. ALL of the video games. A lot of yoga accessories that I've ogled but never bought.

Hanging out with a friend for lunch today, then hopefully finishing up chores, playing piano, and spending quality time with my Steam Deck since hubby has to work. Finish notes for work today also. Family motorcycle ride tomorrow morning, hanging out with parents after that.

Emotional support dumplings. Coworker got it for my birthday and it's one of the first times someone has bought me something without me telling them what to buy 😂

$1000 for my 1ct rose gold white sapphire ring, about $200 for hubby's ring from Etsy. Funny thing is just about every year after that, we've bought cool Etsy rings and enjoy them more than our initial ones. Etsy rings for the win 😊

Good and meh. Personal life is great. I'm able to engage in all the hobbies I want to and am particularly chuffed about learning to play piano. Got a new motorcycle last month that I actually enjoy riding.

Marriage is pretty good. Got a bunch of child support earlier this year, which helped pay off most of my son's medical debt.

Work is...meh. I love my job but I'm over it when it comes to working in general.

Health-wise... it's okay considering how bad it can get. I don't sleep well due to my heart pounding half or the whole night (been an ongoing thing for over a decade and no one can tell me why) so I take a blood pressure supplement (the only thing that helps). Always tired. I've become more of an introvert, which is completely fine because I really love my alone time. Have a good group of friends that I stay in touch with and occasionally socialize with.

Overall, I have no complaints. Unsure about the government situation but I can't get stuck in worrying about that because that dumpster fire will just keep burning. Hoping for enough resistance to keep things from exploding...

Seconding AntennaPod. Used Stitcher and Podbean for a minute and it was frustrating that it usually took forever to resume a podcast from the widget. AntennaPod eliminated that for me. FOSS for the win!

Coworker I met when I started at my current job a year and a half ago. She's the only person who makes me feel unconditionally loved, safe, and more confident in being myself than anyone else. She's pushed me to be more engaged in the friendships I care about, which is hard because introvert. She has an awesome personality and has introduced me to a group of other squiggly (LGBTQ+) people who are super supportive.

Love at first sight 😊

While this is a thing (I'm from the US), the one I found COSTS MORE THAN A WHOLE LOAF. Can't win 😔

It sounds like you may have obsessive compulsive disorder. I would encourage you to seek out a therapist who utilizes exposure and response prevention (ERP) as a treatment.

It's a bright blue that fades to a...pastel blue? Very pretty.

Crochet! I'm not even halfway done with this blanket but I love the color and it's not super complicated so it's enjoyable ☺
