Awesome band that I've heard namedropped a bit but never really bit the bullet and listened to more than the odd single. I'm actually surprised at how much it reminds me of early Napalm Death and Bolt Thrower. Also yes, just this band and super sometimes early bolt thrower gets called "stenchcore" and then the term never seems gets applied to any band after that. Much to my confusion, I think it's meant to represent the very early days of crust/grind before they really differentiated or something?

This shit is wild. You'd figure the capitalists would have a sense of self-preservation and not let things get this bad.

Love this album, less said about their follow up the better.

Holy shit, love these vocals. She pulls off that perfect strained and raw emotion.

Looks decadent with the oil pooling around the bottom.

Who can blame 'em, they're just fun, they have the musical chops to sell their cornball style.

Going to admit that this falls into the category of "bands that I'd heard a lot of chatter about but never really sat down and listened to." I really fell in love with the guitar and drum work here, it's complex enough to be interesting, but far from the sometimes masturbatory "technical" side of things. Vocals took a bit longer for me to get used to but once I did I actually kind of like it, I'll blame the mix instead of admitting that I'm just a philistine.

Once a month ideally, I've had to cut back a bit recently because of rising costs. I also always try to pick up a shirt or something to support the band.

Oh hell yeah! Do yourself a favor and see these dudes perform live, saw them on the brainsqueeze tour with Dead Heat, Necrot, and Muni Waste. Fucking unbelievable show, I was out of commission physically before Municpal Waste could even got on stage the crowd was just going insane. I was getting physically thrown around the pit and I am not a small guy.

If you're gonna support horrible warlike slave-states. At LEAST have the dignity to pick one of the cool ones like Rome.

Repeating a lot of what's already been said here, but I'll list what's worked for me so far. Strenous exercise, lifting zone 2 cardio for an extensive period of time. Spending time in nature hiking/camping/going for walks in the park or around the neighborhood. Journaling has been a huge help for me personally, just helping me keep track of things I've done keeps me from feeling anxious about getting enough accomplished, and to get troubling thoughts off my chest. Prayer/Meditation/"Ritual activity", whatever you want to call it, bullshit or not, it helps calm the mind.

I'm normally not one to stumble across new thrash, but a friend of mine came across this EP and guessed correctly that I'd love this. Crusty, occasionally pretty groove orientated Crossover with an excellent sense of atmosphere, I took one look at the album art and knew I'd love every second of this EP.

Woah, excellent find, this is some fist pumping shit. It's VERY much inspired by Lair, (it's not even subtle) but they went in a more crusty direction and I kinda love that.

I believe with all my soul that Black Pyramid's "The Paths of Time are Vast" was the best album of 2024. Perfect blend of trippiness with heaviness. If you somehow missed this one last year, please give it a spin, you won't regret it.
