Loans that can't be discharged are the problem. Tuition went out the roof when universities discovered this gold mine.

The broadcasters lobbied to have it mandated. Thats the only reason it was ever included.

The reason they had FM in the past was because broadcasters lobbied for it to be a requirement.

You also don't have much time to spend it because they keep you pretty busy. In addition there are tons of other perqs. Looking back I'm disappointed I didn't join. You get retirement very early, and you can start other jobs that you wouldn't have the opportunity for otherwise.

I didn't want to get yelled at. That was what kept me out. Now that I get what that was about I think I could have done it for the required six weeks.

I get called out by one friend often. It disgust me that people can't express their emotions facially without ridicule

I am such a fan (recently) of the charismatic voice because she makes Disney characters seem subdued.
