I think about the bear all the time. One of the few examples of a monster surpassing what I could imagine.

Later in the story they talk about the supposed MAP (or "minor-attracted persons") agenda -- maybe "the Math Agenda" was a misspeak referring to that?

But on the other hand, these people are also lunatics so 🤷

For now, anyway;

  • Sorcerer; confusingly about 4 men driving volatile dynamite through the jungle, no wizards present

  • Manhunter; I literally stand up out of my chair during the tiger scene every time

  • Body Double; Brian de Palma is a weird perv and it's great

  • Threads; it's the scariest movie ever made

  • Annihilation; more upsetting bear than The Edge, only slightly less upsetting lighthouse than The Lighthouse

Netflix continues to do everything it can to support piracy.

I don’t hate it nor like it.

"I just felt it was necessary to make a post to complain about how I shouldn't have to look at it. You know, the regular way people engage with something that they definitely don't feel strongly about."

Somehow the posting was uploaded to the website using a $30 Logitech controller...

Such a great movie.

Toni Collette put forward one of the strongest performances by anyone in anything ever and while awards are ultimately meaningless, deep down in the secret place in my heart that does care about them I am still mad pissed she didn't get nominated for an Academy Award for what she did here.

Caving to bigots is always a cool move. Good work, NHL.

Their parents didn't show them enough affection at a critical developmental stage.

It kind of bums me out when they admit it because it feels like they no longer even respect consumers enough to lie.
