The issue us that the hobbies you have have little correlation with whether or not women like you. I do many things on the list of hobbies that women find unattractive, but I don't have trouble pulling because very little of attracting a sexual partner actually has to do with having a lot in common with them. It's more of vibey thing like that guy was saying.
At the same time, the gym is gonna help self image and self confidence which will help you be fun chill and easygoing which will help you get laid.
The benefits of hitting the gym are much more than just getting swole. It increases self-confidence, helps to improve self-image, etc, which are all way more important to getting laid than any hobby you could have.
Steam honestly has it really bad. You don't see blatant hate speech in play store reviews but you certainly do on steam. The same goes for their forums, which are almost totally unmoderated. Totally agree tho that this is a symptom of a larger problem and am always wary of the government seeking to impede free speech, even if it's speech I despise. Love and trust, contrary to popular belief, are not mutually exclusive. The perfect example is the parents of a shithead teen. Also, while I agree that Anakin was turned because of his bond and the way that Palpatine manipulated him through it, to say that he didn't love Padme is simply untrue. What makes us fear loss of a loved one if they aren't a loved one? Fear of loss is innately connected to his love for Padme, which is the reason that jedi aren't supposed to have attachments so as not to be influenced by their emotions. The issue with it is that he stepped into the emotionality and let the fears, angers, etc. that come alongside love to win him over. Furthermore, it is unclear that he ever really returns from the dark side. He saves his son, but in doing so breaks the same code that he broke in order to try to save Padme. It just so happens that his son was one of the good guys. My argument here is that he was still a dark-sider, or at least quasi-darksider and could have still learned to become a force ghost through that.
