Anybody else find it a bit gross that with an already productive workforce, the 'issue' of the 4 day work week needs to be framed like this...instead of it being about giving people their time and lives back without a reduction in pay?

Yeah...I like the cooler days and not having constant brain fog from the heat, but I started violently coughing like the asthmatic I am this morning and needed to dig out my Ventolin, so winter isn't always a nice time.

No, I haven't. It's been a long time since I played multiplayer in any game at all! Which wasn't local co-op with my sister at least...If Playnite is to be believed that would be Titanfall 2, 2 years ago.
Since I'm limited to one hand (I fractured my elbow), I've been going back to my strategy game catalogue. At first I started with Endless Legend, which I've got over 100 hours in, but I wasn't vibing with it. The backlog game I had on the side, Age of Wonders Planetfall, became my main game. I'm still trying to get into it, but it just feels too cluttered for it's own good. I don't think I want to give up on it but alongside that I began playing Endless Space 2 which is really cool! Even with experience in the Endless series it still feels a bit complicated, it's not as insane as Stellaris, but I have a good feeling about it now.
I think it's sad. There is so much good information stored in the side bars, like for example /r/buildapc or /r/fitness, that I hope gets salvaged by the fediverse.
Plus our spaces here need indexing so we can find answers to obscure questions again.

That might be true for the main threads at the other place but I spent most of my time in every place except the defaults, so I feel less of a difference. Even so, I know there's an uptick in quality just because there's a bit of friction getting into the fediverse and participating.
I only got my Pixel 6a about a month ago, so it's in the best condition it will ever be in! For my 4a I had a Spigen Rugged armor case but switched to Caseology for this phone, but that's also owned by Spigen. I think I prefer this case, as it gives the phone a nice weight to it while also feeling like I can grip it better. The only reason I upgraded was due to water damage...
I've never used a screen protector myself. I noticed the difference with my sister's phone and I don't like it compared to the feel of bare screen.
It's too bad I already wrote like that before ChatGPT was public. For fun I put in an essay of mine from a couple of years back into a detector that told me parts were generated by AI ☠️
