The Department of Education is being dismantled.

I still can't get over how they were essentially presented with a simplified version of the trolley problem and chose to not pull the lever.
By their own narrative that "the democrats are complicit in a genocide in Gaza", they were aware that Palestinians were metaphorically tied to both tracks, yet decided to not pull the lever when America itself and every marginalized person living within was also on the track the trolley barreled towards.
I'm late, but I wanted to get my pals takes on this, too. For me, the biggest thing might be being 6v6. A single extra player on each team can go a long way towards making more interesting team compositions.
Both the pals I've been playing with brought up the "team-up" mechanic. We've been having a good time playing around with these duos/trios, and there's definitely a lot of interesting things they can do with it in the future, even if it kinda seems like a balancing headache.
Then, of course, it's also got the value of being a Marvel IP. That's not specifically better or worse than Overwatch, but it's definitely already helped the game attract so many players.
I wouldn't have the confidence to call it "the Overwatch killer" or anything, but it'll certainly be a real competitor as Overwatch bleeds itself out.
I've never been one to outright support vigilante justice on account of believing that everyone ought to face the same trials and go through the same systems to ensure justice.
I'm not an idiot, though, and I realize a system where our rich are held accountable to the same degree as our poor is incredibly unrealistic/borderline impossible.
"When peace is impossible, violence is inevitable." Paraphrasing, but given the system we find ourselves in, this was just a matter of time.
God when did racism, homophobia, and misogyny become the new opinions you can hold instead of developing an identity
Honestly? Maybe sometime around mid-late 2015 after Donald announced his first run for president.
The moment he was taken seriously, it emboldened all the chuds.
Upon further thought, I believe that year also marked the start of what led to Brexit as the UK Conservative Party won a majority. Not a great year.
I've noticed the same thing. I do think part of it is .ml has been accruing users from other, more widely defederated instances like lemmygrad and hexbear.
Trolls want an audience, after all.
