I personally don't own a phone. My solution to messaging, recording, and navigation is my Thinkpad X200T running parabola GNU+Linux-libre as the os and GNU boot as the bios. It's as anti-surveillance pro-piracy pro-freedom you can get. For protests, just turning off bluetooth and wifi on it pretty much gets you off the radar. The only problem is that it's camera really sucks. Photos are doable, but videos might not. Also, for protests, physical privacy is important too, so I hope you are wearing bandana to protect you from being identified in addition to protection (helmet, knee pads, and maybe a gas mask depending on how big the protest is)

Yeah lol I got flamed for using the actual article's headline last time Never doing the mistake of spreading the "unbiased" propaganda headline again

In the interview, she is asked about the other crew members. She states that she hasn't been able to get into contact as they were put into individual cells, and the crew wasn't given the proper freedom to fully communicate with lawyers. This is not over. They merely release Greta first because she has a platform. She speaks into further detail about this in the interview, so I highly advise you watch it.

You're correct, the original link did get overwritten by the image https://www.aljazeera.com/news/liveblog/2025/6/4/madleen-gaza-flotilla-live-greta-thunberg-activists-to-arrive-on-june-7?update=3763088 here is the link but it's important to note that you will probably scroll down a lot until you find the actual headline I'm reffering to because they are updating it very frequently.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 week ago

That is true, but again, I'm using the Aljazeera headline because that's where I got it from

They can't inspect the boat. They invaded them on international water. I would understand you're comment if they were pirated on Israeli territory, but no, they were on international waters 185km from Gaza when it was stopped.

I don't think demizerone meant that they will suddenly be brought to justice. I think he clearly meant that we will bring justice just in an indirect way.

Cops merely protect the ones giving orders rather than the people, so it's not a big surprise. This is why anarchists believe that they should be abolished.

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs says the Madleen’s crew is being taken to Israel after Israeli commandos seized the vessel in international waters. The Madleen ship, launched by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, was close to 100 miles [160km] from Gaza when it was stopped. The ship was carrying humanitarian aid to Palestinians starving because of Israel’s siege. Israel’s most recent total blockade began on March 2, and has only partially lifted under mounting international pressure.

Yesterday, at 20:41, the IDF released "Urgent warning to those present in Beirut’s Dahye, especially in the following areas: Hadath, Haret Hreik, and Burj al-Barajneh, specifically in the buildings marked in red on the attached maps and the surrounding buildings. 🔸You are located near facilities belonging to the terrorist organization Hezbollah. 🔸For your safety and the safety of your families, you are urged to evacuate these buildings immediately and move at least 300 meters away from them"

20:56--> 21:07:

As seen in the images and videos I sent, this resulted in heavy displacement. People fleed their homes to stay alive, not knowing if they will come back to them or not. There was inhumane scenes when I was going back home. I saw cars parked in rows on the side of the road filled with families that have fleed their house and have no where else to go.

21:09:

IDF: "The IDF will soon carry out a strike on underground UAV production infrastructure sites that were deliberately established in the heart of civilian population in the Dahieh in Beirut in southern Lebanon"

21:11:

IDF: "Despite the understandings between Israel and Lebanon, the IDF has identified that the Hezbollah aerial unit is operating to produce thousands of UAV's, with the direction and funding of Iranian terrorists. Following Hezbollah's extensive use of UAV's as a central component of its terrorist attacks on the state of Israel, the terrorist organization is operating to increase production of UAV's for the next war. These activities constitute a blatant violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon. The Hezbollah terrorist organization creates challenges for the State of Lebanon and thus prevents the implementation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon. The IDF will operate against every threat posed to the state of Israel and its civilians, and will prevent all attempts of the Hezbollah terrorist organization to reestablish itself"

21:12

IDF: We will target underground infrastructure used for the production of drones located within a residential area in Dahye

21:14-->21:16:

Isreali drones and planes have entered the Lebanese airspace, resulting in more chaos which led to an overturned truck under the Msharrafieh bridge

21:19--> 22:09:

Mock raids continues constantly A large number of residents in Dahieh have not left the area, which isn't a big surprise, since these people have already lost everything in the war when isreal was striking their houses. They stand their ground.

Israeli Broadcasting Corporation: The Israeli army classifies the upcoming strikes in Beirut’s Dahye as major and is preparing for defensive scenarios

Israeli media: The strikes on Beirut’s Dahye will be the largest since the ceasefire

Israeli Channel 14: The attacks on Dahye and deep inside Lebanon are being carried out in coordination with the US

LBC: Random threat calls have been received in several villages in the South, Western Bekaa, and Beirut, and the Army Intelligence is investigating the numbers

Ambulances are preparing for any emergency in the Dahye

Israeli Defense Minister: We will continue to enforce the ceasefire rules in Lebanon without any leniency

Jadeed: According to reports, the Lebanese Army has entered one of the threatened buildings

22:09 --> 00:07:

United Nations: We once again call for a halt to any actions that could further undermine the cessation of hostilities and the implementation of Resolution 1701

Continues Airstrikes (10 in a row)

LBCI information: A military unit headed to the suburbs and inspected a threatened building where no weapons were found

What a surprise! No weapons were found. The continious propoganda reminder of we are hitting Hezbollah infastructure and only Hezbollah infastructure turned out to be a lie. But that's not a big surprise. In the war, they were launching left and right. They didn't even bother to "remind us" that they were hitting Hezbollah. Joseph Goebbels was the Nazi politician and Propaganda Minister (1897–1945). He said "If you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it, and you will even come to believe it yourself.", and I can't seem to escape it while living in Lebanon.

Yesterday at 23:15, our teacher said "I hope you are safe" 23:16: one of my classmates replied with "Ms, what safe?! The house is dramatically shaking. If we don't die for the strikes, then the house collapsing will kill us." He said it jokingly, but in his voice was a tone of sorrow. He's 13. So he's on the older side of things. Put yourself in the shoes of an infant. You keep hearing deafening airstrikes, the ground beneath your feet is shaking as you flee from your home with nothing other than your mom and dad (if you are lucky), and you are sleeping in a car on the side of the road while the ground continues to shake and rumble. Or put yourself in anyones shoes no matter their age. It's suffering. Mainstream media won't document it, because maybe the people will actually realise the war crimes being commited, and they will think! That's horrific! We can't have them do that!

I have realized a lot of posts on here mostly criticizing the data collection of people to train A.I, but I don't think A.I upon itself is bad, because A.I- like software development- has many ways of implementations: Software can either control the user, or the user can control the software, and also like software development, some software might be for negative purposes while others may be for better purposes, so saying "Fuck Software" just because of software that controls the user feels pretty unfair, and I know A.I might be used for replacing jobs, but that has happened many times before, and it is mostly a positive move forward like with the internet. Now, I'm not trying to start a big ass debate on how A.I = Good, because as mentioned before, I believe that A.I is as good as its uses are. All I want to know from this post is why you hate A.I as a general topic. I'm currently writing a research paper on this topic, so I would like some opinion.
