The entire Dem leadership cadre needs to start stepping aside. They have failed to recognize how things have changed, and are well prepared to fight the GOP of the 1990s. Shit has changed, idiots, and you need to hand the reins over to folks like AOC and Hogg. Stop sidelining them, start paying attention to the canary in your goddamned coalmine.

Your reply is a non sequitur.
Not to praise MAGA or anything, but this is part of why the GOP wins more than it should: their voters swallow their misgivings and turn out for them. Dem voters will jettison all support on the merest wafting zephyr of news they don't entirely like.
You don't want sheep, but you want voters who can get on the bus when the election comes around. You want to fight to upgrade the party between cycles, but once primary season is over, get on the bus and vote.
You picked a bad start date for Arab/Jewish trouble in Palestine. You also appear to ignore how the other Arab states screwed over the Palestinians to keep them desperate.
But I didn't comment to debate this. I commented to disabuse the notion that Israel is using the Iron Age to think what they think. Neither are the Arabs.
Uh, no. They live in the living memory of the Six-Day War. I'm not going to defend the behavior of the current Israeli government, but in no way are they just living out the biases the Old Testament when they think neighboring Arab states are antagonistic to them. They remember 1967, and if you think that all neighboring Arab states have done a 180 from where they were then, you're very much wrong.
They thrive on our hate.
I very much hope Ukraine's reported success is as good as they claim. Deleting 1/3 of the Russia's bomber capacity against Ukraine is nice.
Trump never ever has the least idea of what he's talking about.
Nothing says "small dick" like Trump calling for the government to bully someone who hurt his feels.
The US has a lot of citizens in Israel, and a lot of Israeli citizens with families in the US, so it's hard to turn from the historic unconditional support to conditional support or even lack of support. No matter who is in office, the reality of this is strong.
Just the same as the NATO countries are finding it complicated decoupling from the MAGA US. It's not so simple to unwind national relationships. It would be nice if it was easy, but it just isn't, especially in a democracy where there's a significant fraction of voters who are unmoved by the Gaza disaster. It's sad but true.
"I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
The oath of office has one stipulation. Just one.
He's taken it twice. He's such an evil man.
