I'll try and track some down - thanks

Exactly. Further to the 'pre-war' comment, I'd suggest it started when they took Crimea. I think they were warming up with Chechnya and Georgia.

Meanwhile our politicians bicker and squabble about what toilets people should be using.

Well they did say monorail!

Like they used to be? In UK we have miles and miles of waterways. Birmingham has more mileage of canals than Venice and is just one hub on hundreds of miles of navigable water. We used to use them a lot and would be doing ourselves and the planet a favour by using them again. Not everything has to be delivered yesterday.

"These bugs are also known to bite unsuspecting humans between the toes, hence why they're called "toe-biters," though this bite is nontoxic and we're far too big to be their prey."

That doesn't mean they can't try :-(

I wonder why that would be.

FFS America, you don't get it both ways. You should have come down ruthlessly on anyone trading with Russia. But you did it all limp wristed and weakly.

Get a grip, get those weapons to Ukraine because there will be no stopping Putin if Russia wins this. And your orange idiot will back him all the way.

Wondering why the bloke needed a huge puffy jacket. He's either a George Costanza wannabee or it was very cold where they shot the video.

This is a lot of the reasoning. I left the army in 1997 after 17 years. Should really have stayed on for my 22 to get the full pension, but was so disillusioned that I couldn't stay. My future was looking like Bosnia, Belfast, Basra and BATUS (UK training area in Canada - nothing wrong with that though).

And it'll strengthen your arms!

I've never got Wine to work. Gave up with Windows programmes as there's nothing I need there. Other people have different uses though.

Looks like my distro hopping days are over now though and settled with EndeavourOS. I'm well aware it's Arch with a fancy hat on but it suits me. For now 😉
