Burgerland? Wow, this is just sad. That person probably doesn’t go outside often. Good thing that unlike the site that must not be named, this is FOSS so it’s a lot harder for them to ban the /c’s outside of ml and lemmygrad they disagree with unlike the tankie admins on that site.

Yeah, the cascades are already getting some a whole month ahead of schedule. So much for El Niño = no skiing.

But I do hope El Niño prevents it from dooming our backyard trees, transportation system and winter solstice travel plans again, last winter we had record breaking winds, a lot more snow than rain (due to an unseasonably cold December) and many, MANY days below 25.

As I type this it actually is thundering and raining torrentially here in the PNW- and I live in one of the tallest apartment buildings in my neighborhood

Some day we’ll look at all this and laugh just as we do with that “Satanic Panic”

That’s good to know, so I actually don’t need to physically unplug the power strip to trim down the bill. I’ve been doing it wrong for a while

It’s okay, remember that summer storm on the last couple days of August and the first couple days of September? (At least in Seattle)
