Wasn't this from before the massacre?

The shooter didn't pretend to be anti Trump on social media. He looked up other high profile targets including Biden but Trump was visiting near him. His political leanings were meh, he was a registered republican, he donated a small sum to a democrat. He couldn't get into his high school rifle club because of poor marksmanship. Thats actually why the story kinda fizzled out, there just wasn't much to it. Republicans wanted to promote it as an anti Trump thing but it had no traction.

You can't even meow, so no learning about the noises animals make

New testament, find all mentions of "Jesus", replace with "Trump". Bind in cheap tacky looking gold coloured covering, maybe a us flag sticker attached. The patriot Bible, in the description go on a tirade with mispellings and caps about how some bibles are traitor bibles, how the world could end at any minute and they should get one of these for everyone in the family.

60 quid each, but if they buy 20 it's only 800! It's only marginally more blasphemous than the Trump Bible, but I'd still find it funny of people bought it.

Then they'll just continue his work. It's not like he came up with any of it. None of this is an original thought. They're just seeing how little push back they get and moving to the next step.

He could die in the most widely documented self inflicted injury at age 100 and I wouldn't put it past people to consider it a conspiracy

They didn't say that though and now you seem to think I did. Which is bizarre. The point is that a couple of protests a month isn't enough given the severity of the situation and that while blocking a couple of executive orders is better than nothing it's not sufficient.

They're abducting people and sending them to labour camps, openly ignoring people's rights and judges orders.

Pointing that out isn't cowardice, ignoring it is complacency. Showing up a couple of times a month and pretending the rest will be sorted out by someone else is what you'd do if you were trying to trick people into inaction

Where are you getting "roll over and give up" from?

They said its not going to cut it, which is true, they said its baby stuff, which is true. Do you not understand the severity of what is happening?

You're talking about hero's fighting but you're describing judges and lawyers, who have publicly been ignored, and occasional protests. 2 protests in february, 1 in march. The people involved are carrying it out Because they don't think there'll be consequences. So far there hasnt been.

What's the maximum penalty in Texas and California where the planes took off? Every administration member, every ICE member, are they going to just get away with it while people say "well actually, that's illegal 😏"? Do people just go to work and hope things will work themselves out?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 months ago

Whatever you do don't blame the people who threw the campaign and rolled out the red carpet for where you are now. Maybe they'll get back into power and make sure the people involved face no justice at all, so they can do it again

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

They're still at it with their "Gulf of America" nonsense

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago

Would it be easier and more efficient?

You'd have to scrap the entire party. Pretty much every candidate, every analyst and advisor. They won't oppose the republicans, but they'll for sure oppose that.

I don't see it happening, I keep hearing the dems wanting to double down.

What will happen is they'll go "we tried to be more like the republicans but people voted republican. So we need to be even more like the republicans" and eventually they'll win because the republicans do so much damage and they'll say "we won by being more republican" and then they'll pass the power back over. You need a real opposition party.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

Haha yeah they'll do that

This is why I can't get into it. The whole twitter format just feels so unappealing to me.
