as far as i'm aware (not korean, never been there, just an internet weirdo) ondol heating of a sort is still used for the floors in korea. i assume it's more of a radiator system now though?

i think abandoned places in general have a kind of residual sorrow to them, but this place isn't too bad. worst are the ones where things have been left. i've seen abandoned hospitals that still have medicine left in them, for example.
