Does this happen? I think I've only experienced something close to this in high school, but never as an adult. Normally, people around me are either supportive or indifferent about someone learning new skills.

Whenever the press asked him about vaccines, he never out rite said that they should get vaccines for the health and safety of the county they supposed love. It's so simple. Love the county? Love the economy? Get vaccinated and stay up to date. Trust the American(tm) researchers.
Even they knew it was bs. Their supposed confidence in nfts was just them trying to drive the market up so they could unload it on the next sap. They didn't consider that they were the sap all along. The collapse was faster then crypto because nfts don't even have a real utility. And yes, crypto does have a utility as currency in nitche communities, but most people treated it like commodity.

Define "culture war bullshit". Is it having minorities in Hollywood movies or is it complaining about The War On Christmas? Because if "The War On Christmas" is culture war bullshit, I do agree.
That being said, regardless of what you think "culture war bullshit" is, it's very easier to disengage from it. Less effort then it takes to complain about it even.
Cancelling Storm Front was mistake. It was containment for these people.
