I'm not sure how to, and it's not something I care about enough to figure out how. I generally think of posting here as more shouting into the void, so I don't care very much to personalize my account.
I use Sync. I may be missing out on the perfectly simple UI that was developed to do this.

I'm trying to figure out why someone would care. The mall is mostly closed. Yeah, the dealership must have paid the lot owner, so I don't see the problem.

That's the entire point of the post, my guy. Some apps use the Downloads folder. Some use their own. Some use a folder you set a year ago when you first got the app but don't remember anymore.
The interface abstracts away from the actual file system so finding a file becomes guesswork. Doubly so if you then want to use the downloaded file in a different app that also doesn't give access to the file system.
Just ftr: Everyone uses drugs about equally. They just arrest Black people disproportionately for it.

You answered your own question. The search engine indexes your page to send traffic to you. The AI bot indexes your page to plagiarize your content.
Anecdotally, AI also routinely ignores sites' robots.txt and spoof their agents to try to hide what they're doing. A lot of site owners are complaining about the costs of delivering content to web scrapers. Where search indexes might hit a site every day, some AI bots are running every hour and just wasting their bandwidth.

I'm on several MAGA lists because the dumber sect of Democrats can't understand that people exist to the left of them.
Jokes aside, there are people I respect who call themselves anarchists, communists, socialists, and other labels. Most of the real vitriol I see is from Democrats at all of us and from Leftists right back.
"Leftist infighting" is a meme for a reason, but I think too often honest disagreements about principles get written off as such.
