I won't use GrapheneOS. This video basically explains why: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4To-F6W1NT0

I use my stock ROM and followed the steps from this guide, with some changes like using Shizuku and App Ops, instead of AppOpsX: https://lemmy.ml/post/128667

Not much currently stands out to me as needing for my personal archive, but I'm sure I'll miss something when it's gone. For now, I'm downloading the torrent from Pushshift: https://academictorrents.com/details/7c0645c94321311bb05bd879ddee4d0eba08aaee

Great tip of the Archive Team Warrior btw. I'll set that up later.

Fixed:

I feel like everyone should have assumed this the second it was known this was a ~~Chinese~~ company...

It's not as if the US doesn't have access to data that US social media apps have.

Here are all the steps after installing Caddy to create a reverse proxy with SSL:

  1. Open the /etc/caddy/Caddyfile file
  2. Add the following, replacing the domain and port with those that you want to use.

subdomain.example.com {

  reverse_proxy localhost:8080

}

  1. Restart Caddy with systemctl restart caddy

Caddy is simpler for the reverse proxy. Just sharing for people that get scared when they try to set up Traefik.
