I just block communities that is to spammy or annoying, the thing with a open source decentralize platform is that you need to drag the sliders yourself to your liking.

That would break GDPR and they could have a class suit on their hands, ToS can't override laws.
I have done this to companies that pissed me off, asked for all the information they have on you, great way to get free USB drivers.
In my country we have something called Datainspektionen, they hunt down companies that break GDPR, perhaps it's time to report Reddit..

This is called soft delete, if they are a EU resident, they can claim GDPR and get it all wiped, getting "forgotten" is a right.
