Nah Pringles are mid at best. Weak flavor, ok texture, too high price. I dont need any artisanal shit, pretty much anything else is better than Pringles.

I'm clearly out of the loop. What's up with YandereDev? I've heard his name before but that's it, what did he do?

You know like 70% of desktops run Windows right? That's not what I would call "dead". Almost every company out there uses Windows on their computers.

Don't get me wrong, I would love it if Windows died but there are no signs at all of that happening any time soon.

Windows won't die what are you talking about? Windows 12 subscriptions are a) just a rumor and b) not for the entire os, just certain features like AI and stuff

Roundabouts are great but it's expensive to convert a crossing to a roundabout, not to mention difficult since the traffic needs to be rerouted during construction. In the most congested areas it's almost impossible, which is ironically where it is needed the most

I feel like this metaphor is getting out of hand

Not necessarily. If you know that your pants are at the bottom then you can just plunge your hand into the pile and grab them without any searching.

🚫 Insulting the intelligence of the recipient by way of apology:

  • "I'm sorry for not being more clear"
  • "I'm sorry about being so misleading"

How are those insulting? Saying that I should have been more clear means I am the one who messed up by not communicating properly. Something like "sorry that you misunderstood" would be insulting since it places the blame on the recipient's intelligence.

It was just an example. There are a thousand other ways to break the latch without messing up the rest of the car

That's not possible on any lemmy mobile app AFAIK. I use the web client for that. Hope they add it soon.

I mean I like bashing on Tesla as much as the next guy, but any car can end up like this regardless of price. They probably bumped into something that broke the locking mechanism and this is probably just a temporary solution until they get it replaced.
