Hey just wondering if anybody has any experience in a decentralized cloud storage solution. Pretty much just a personal replacement of Google, Apple, and Dropbox services. I’ve been doing some research and it seems like a cool technology that I have not heard about until I went looking for it. So just wanted to know if anyone had experience with it, the pricing, and which one they recommended. Thanks you.

Part of me wants every website to do this. The UK just gets blocked from majority of the internet then people in the UK can get angry and rebel.

  1. Try clearing cookies and data on your browser
  2. Try a different browser such as mullvad or even tor
  3. Try a different location such as a library to see if your ip ban
  4. Buy a new pc
  5. Stay off reddit cause lemmy is better anyway

Sounds like they were using a vpn on their device but didn't actually bind it to qbit. The solution you posted is exactly how you bind it to the vpn. So now even if the vpn leaks, qbit will cease to up/dwn. Glad you guys learned and hopefully you guys never get a letter again.

Yes it is a cryptocurrency just like bitcoin and eth but it is privacy focused. For example, on the bitcoin blockchain, your transactions and who sent btc to who and how much did you send is open to the public. With monero, there is still a blockchain but nothing is open to the public. They don't know who sent monero to who or how much you sent. All they know is a transaction was made and thats it. If i made any mistakes hopefully someone will correct me but I hope this gave you the basic understanding of how it works.

I feel like with web tracking its easier to block than tv apps. So I would rather go with that.

I agree, but if they are not well versed in the digital world, most think they are safe in SMS until their conversations gets blasted in a court case. Honestly, I would rather they stay on SMS then try to move onto signal so the government doesn't have a reason to try to go after encrypted messengers. Just wish there were stronger laws in place to prevent this but of course we can't compete with billion of lobby dollars.

I wonder if I get an android TV with my fav apps and limit or block everything else. I do agree with roku, my enitre house has it and it seems like the only thing you can do is turn off personalized ads and nothing else. Really Limits your control.

well since majority of people won't be using signal and a custom ROM, they won't have to worry about the minority. Just hope people can see and fight back. Unfortunately, most don't care or think its a good thing for some reason.

While its impossible to get leaks of anyone since it depends on the people who decide to leak it, you can find it on sites such as Coomer.su but if you want more porndude got a whole list of them. Have fun with your endeavors..
