Was America…but it seems it isn’t what it said it was.

Christmas horror. As the autumn months rolled on target shoppers started to notice a peculiar toy trend, not driven by ticktok or tumu but from international sanctions, blockades and the executive order issuing only one dolly per child this Christmas.

To stream line the Christmas production and help Santa out the year the government steps in to help with the issuing of the Dolly’s. They come in pink or blue. They will be produced by the countries biggest funds donee sorry family driven org. To make the kids happy they will all be called buddie and will be quipped with a Ai driven function to chat to you like a real friend. They will listen to your child’s worries, insecurities and your families every thought.

Santa not happy at thought of being out of a job moving forward decides to take action by sneaking into every home on Christmas Eve to steal the dolls. However upon dropping down the chimney is greeted by doll with the face drawn by Ai slop, its eyes turn corporate blue and alert the local authority. At the report of an undocumented migrant comes in a special Christmas hit squad named ICE is dispatched….this is as far as I got, it needs a name and an ending if anyone fancies completing it.

Sounds like a crazy movie here. Not totally unbelievable. I’m currently playing this in my head and wondering what this years influencer videos will look like in the lead up to Christmas, devoid of tat. I feel like Canada might be ok, would it not be the worst time to attack them being winter and that’s what they are good at.

I am trying, lemmee feels like home. I know why I hate my former spaces. I am trying to figure my happy space here. I don’t want it to be like the other places I left, however I miss some of there qualities, odd visits to insta. I really miss a good visual feed.

I also miss marketplace too. I like to recycle and it was good for that.

How do you think this might change? It’s something I think to.

I don’t want the us politics either tho 🤣

I also dont want to see it morph into Reddit though. I can see people posing Reddit style questions to try and boost engagement with others. I don’t mind the posts of news/interes articles however they are often links that are either add or I have 50 cookies to block, so I dont bother. There is not usually much in terms of replies on these post types.

That really speaks more about the state of the internet rather than a lemme thing.

Yeh my family treat me like I am a nut job. I only swapped away from google and ask them to think about the orgs they spend their money on for example Amazon.

It’s amazing how many people got on board with Covid conspiracies but questioning where you data goes, who’s using it, what for, no that’s a bit far lol.

Agree with clothing. Places like shein are become an actual problem on the environment and people’s perception of need.
