Jeiyan is a city in Tian where the residents are kept as young as children by a magic fountain of youth that they made overactive by filling it with youth potions. They take maturity potions to prevent themselves from losing their wisdom and becoming childish, and this also helps them from reverting to even younger ages where they would lose the abilities to walk and talk.

Their city was founded in the endless clouds, around the large sacred fountain that existed there as something that was dreamed into existence by Rhinne, and carried her energies. It attracted those who sought presence and mindfulness in the moment. The small village that was settled quickly became the large city it is now once word spread and people visited to spend time in its energy.

Those who wish to learn time magic for specific purposes or become chronomages are also known to reside in Jeiyan, but this is controversial because they blur the order of time. They make manifestations and other blessings appear faster or before they are actually granted, but chronomancy can also cause flashbacks, aging, youthing, dissociation or deja vu in humans. Time magic is less of a controversy outside of Jeiyan, where people have a less intense and purposeful connection with the flow of existence.

Their mayoral deity is a New God by the name of Chronolius XVI (The Sixteenth) who rules over the city from the center and is known for his calm and collected demeanor and the golden chair he sits on as well as for an incident where an assassination attempt caused him to fall into the city’s fountain with a golden arrow still in his chest. He rules over the city with timekeeper monks in brown robes just like the ones who care for the temple of Rhinne herself. The Grand Temple of Jeiyan is a location where timekeeper monks are trained because of this.

A trend in human behavior that I have noticed is paternalism. Obviously parents are the most obvious example of paternalism, but even governments and social groups engage in this. In some contexts it makes sense to override someone’s autonomy such as if they desire to harm others or engage in conduct that is detrimental to human life or the environment. However, many political and religious groups attempt to stop people from doing other things such as religious practice, sex work, or even dating or ideological reasons. Why did people end up in such a mess? How many people fall into patterns of exercising excessive control over their loved ones? Even doctors are known for paternalistic attitudes and disregarding the wishes of the people seeking care.

When a person is making decisions that are not best for themselves, there may be some reasons why, such as misunderstanding of reality, fear of action, instant gratification, etc. The logical thing to do is to just tell them why their decision would be bad, but in reality this manifests as paternalistic programs related to drugs in school that greatly exaggerate the realities of drug usage and their side effects, with focus entirely on the worse ones to create a mental fear of anything while not going into nuances. They obviously don’t trust their people to make decisions enough to give them a non-biased education, and this backfires because people are not unable to see what the establishment is attempting to do. By exaggerating or withholding information that would influence a person’s decision on something, you make it seem as if your preferred decision needs manipulation in order for other people to choose it. This is a big reason why anti-socialist propaganda is losing its effect as well.

I am not a libertarian in any way, but if we give the people everything they need to survive and we educate them as to why certain things are bad, they have the knowledge they need to choose their fate. There is a desire to try and make people do what is best for themselves, but this becomes paternalism once it limits their personal autonomy.

This theory is for mature audiences only. I avoided saying anything graphic and touched on this from a purely economic angle since other aspects are irrelevant to this discussion.

Marxism-Leninism historically sees sex work as something women, men, or whatever other gender identities are forced into. This does happen, but the term sex work has evolved and it means so many different things to so many different people. Especially in the modern world where people are willingly and voluntarily deciding to partake in this kind of work. There are some very bad things happening with sex work, but human trafficking and coercive practices exist in any type of work. In Dubai their economy has a backbone of people from rural parts of the third world that have no rights or payment due to them. Despite this, people do not put the same emphasis on trafficked labor as sex work.

So why does sex sex work have this huge asterisk on it when communism is being discussed? Trafficking is a lot less likely once people are given education, means to survive and the wealth they produce, as well as democratically control the economy. However to imagine sex work disappearing entirely is to have a very narrow 19th century understanding of sex work. Attractive women or men can engage in this type of labor as a hobby or to make a bit of extra money. Communism historically had many great philosophers and revolutionaries who wrote theory, but to be honest they did not have exposure to the world of sex work that we exist in now. We don’t even have brothels anymore, and everything is online where people are independently deciding what kind of content to produce and where to show it. Content websites under capitalism are inherently exploitative in our current economy where people need to produce content to make money just to survive, but without the element of economic necessity to engage in that, the element of exploitation no longer exists.

If we take away the stigma or the sexual element of this, modern sex work (In most cases) is just content production. It is like being a Youtuber or being a person that posts content online. This kind of interpretation that all sex is exploitative makes me think people get lost in the sauce of upholding orthodox Marxist ideas and they’re viewing it as a matter of ideological purity. Nothing exists in an ethical way under capitalism so sex work under capitalism is unethical, but we can say that for any kind of work under capitalism as well. The fixation on sex work also rings of social conservatism. Why don’t we consider adult films a kind of product that is produced just like music or cinema? Are we upholding a double standard due to our own judgements and societal stigma of some types of media? You do not need to promote the consumption of it, but you also do not need to ban it entirely because it does not fit neatly into your idea of what society should look like. You need to take a level-headed approach to the issue. In modern society, only radical bible thumpers would be happy with such a decision anyway.

The solution to sex work, just like any other type of work, is to unionize those involved in it and defend them from exploitation. Why are we unionizing the masses and abandoning the sex workers, many of whom are trans, BIPOC, or unable to make a living in other ways for various reasons? It would even be logical to take things a step further and keep representatives from the party around in those establishments to make sure no person is exploited or being mistreated in this type of work. Stop looking in old textbooks for solutions to problems that did not exist back then. The best thing you can do for sex work is to stop being so unwilling to touch it as a subject, and fight for the rights of the workers in that industry the same exact way you fight for the rights of any other kind of worker.

In The Chairman’s China, a struggle session was a time when comrades would gather class enemies to be humiliated and denounced for their crimes. This is good and definitely has its place within your spiritual practice, but class struggle is not limited only to these activities. Class struggle is something that many people do not immediately understand and some may need ideological guidance and theory in order to really get what the ideology is about. The bourgeoisie are also propagating their ideology to the masses at an alarming rate and with dangerous levels of effectiveness. The bourgeoisie own the media, the state, and even the minds of so many people who we would consider “normies” for lack of a better word. These people think the news and the educational system is educating them while they are being indoctrinated into mental subservience to one of the worst regimes on the planet. They think they are idealistic and progressive even though they are being prepared for exploitation and slaughter.

Depending on how revolutionary your people are, you should adjust the material. You can’t talk to new leftists about Palestine because they are probably still scared of being labeled antisemite by the sympathizers of the regime occupying that country. You will also not want to bore seasoned revolutionaries with beginner theory unless members are messing things up and need a review. Some people are involved with single-issue politics such as environmentalist or pirate parties and they may be confused about communism and how it would relate to their specific concerns. A good struggle session is held in a public place not only to propagate the ideology but to make it clear what the comrades believe. Do not treat it as anything strange or clandestine, treat it like a normal conversation and let people listen in if they want.

Another thing about struggle sessions is that they do not always need everyone to bring books or read theory beforehand. Discussion about theory and dialectical materialism are good topics for any person. Current events are good but you can also get into more general conversations that relate to it such as assimilation vs. liberation, sex work, national identity, origin of the family, differences between domestic and paid labor etc. as these are all topics that relate to class and class struggle even if they aren’t directly from our ideology. Good communists devote themselves to the ideology while great communists understand that it is not something to be devoted towards, it is a tool to build socialism and to help the masses articulate the problems of society and to take control of the economy from bourgeois forces.

When the gods create a person’s soul or it is formed, it comes into existence as a magatama. or a collection of magatama. The four basic ones are the Earth Magatama, Fire Magatama, Water Magatama, and Air Magatama. These four are the basis of any living person’s soul and allow them to connect with nature and the gods. You will collect soul magatama as your life goes on, especially if your life is full of accomplishment, purpose or spirituality. These magatama follow you throughout all lifetimes and make subsequent lifetimes easier or provide various benefits once they are attached to your soul. You can also be given these energies throughout life or develop them on your own. Some may have the basic 4, while others may have hundreds from a long collection of lifetimes lived in the land of the living. The shape of the magatama when worn or kept near you is able to attract more of these.

Once upon a time there was a woman who wanted to marry her way into wealth, so she hired a powerful magician in yellow robes from a far-away continent to conjure powerful ancestors and deities that could help her accomplish her goal. He was not sure exactly what he was doing and it made her uneasy, but she continued on until one day she received a visit in a dream from the spider thief goddess, who told her to sit down at a bus stop the next morning at a specific time. She did, and she was approached by a man in a suit who began to talk to her. He was a billionaire but he used public transport to hide that he was wealthy. The man was enamored with her immediately, and immediately started giving her large amounts of money for seemingly no reason. She took the money and his contact information, and he was asking her for dates and things. Every time he saw her, he would shower her with expensive gifts to the point she had nowhere to put them and had to move into a larger place he paid for.

She had the material things she wanted, but now she was also playing a very dangerous game. The man could realize at any moment she had a spell cast on him to give her money, and then he could use his wealth to take revenge on her in any number of ways. She contacted the magician who warned her against it, but she was tired of him finding her every time she ran away or fled to new cities. One day while they were both in the apartment, he got a call from a family member who began questioning him about his money and why he was spending so much. She couldn’t hear exactly what the other person on the phone was saying, but she could tell it was about her by what the man was saying. She confessed at that moment to him that she spelled him to get his money, and he took a very long pause while hanging up the phone. He eventually turned around, and in a threatening manner began to give her an angry look. The supernatural obsession cast on him turned to anger, which she felt radiating strongly out of him through the air so intensely it almost felt like it burned her skin. She began to run out of the penthouse, but he stopped her and began beating her to death.
