He came in one year ago to replace a lady who refused to send tanks to Ukraine and didn't want the stress they put on her for that.
Pistorius just talks tough a lot and promises to thow money at the many problems of the armed forces. For that he was mocked a little and called "Pistol-ius" at first, but that's gone now. I have heard people at work - boomer PMCs, like educated people - worry about Russia launching missiles at Berlin. These guys must love a show-off like Pistorius.
Man was not meant to have this kind of power. Unplug and repent!

Kadiivka is in the town featured in that Russian tank video from June 2022 where a bunch of T-72s roll into the setting sun on their way to Popasna while blasting Crimson Lada from their loudspeakers. Did the rounds on the usual sites back then. Extremely vibey tank footage, can upload if anyone is interested.
Watched it again this weekend and was smiling and chuckling the entire 2 hours of the movie. Even noticed some new details that I didn't get before, like how Johnny basically accepts his role as meaty cannon fodder but still is all gung ho about it in the last 30 minutes.
