I mean I have issues with TikTok but parents could also just like not let their kids use it. Parental controls are a thing. I don't understand why people get so upset at social media companies for trying to get everyone they possibly can to use their apps as much as they can since it's how they make their money lol. They're corporations, not charities - don't expect them to do the right thing.

The US justice system unfortunately runs on emotion and punishment rather than rehabilitation, thanks in no small part to the whole privatized prison system. The average American would rather see someone suffer than get the help they need. This is a particularly strong mindset ironically among the conservative religious, but there are plenty of liberals who think that way too. This country needs reform on so many systems...

My cats both had severe untreated syphilis when they were kittens which fucked up their sinuses. One of them just has a leaky eye but the other has two fucked up inner eyelids, two leaky eyes, and a VERY leaky nose. She will have sneezing fits randomly and it's like D-Day. We take cover or quickly scoot her to the hardwood floor to limit what she covers in snot lmao. Love them both to death though
