Ublock Origin literally works fine for youtube. If you ever receive a warning like this just clear your cache and refresh your filters.

I'm pretty much done with it. I do the occasional search for piracy content with a search engine but other than that I get my fill of internet surfing elsewhere.

Yeah that's fair. Even if you see negative stuff about a game online, if you enjoy something then just enjoy it. Online toxicity and negativity are out of your control. Just get comfy and find peace in knowing that you're having a good time.
