I'm looking at Veilguard and hoping that they didn't derail the game too hard after BG3's success. I just want Dragon Age to be its own thing and moving away from big pillars of worldbuilding like blood magic reeks of trying to be more mainstream fantasy

We abolished entire ad campaigns. That was a half measure all the same, but seeing this and things like Spiked Simply Juice and Tie-in boozy colas (don't even get me started on vaping), it feels like they knew we've hit the skids as a society. The ruling class sees the empire crumbling and they're stripping the copper wires by getting younger generations addicted.
