There's on close enough to me that I can go there if I want, but the last few times I did (years ago) it was so greasy and unhealthy I vowed never to go back. And I didn't.
CIWS-30
I've made more of a point to buy from them more often. I bought the DLC for Deep sky Derelicts recently (during the summer sale) because I enjoyed the base game which GoG gave me for free.
He almost certainly won't be able to make that happen, but it'd be a terrible idea. If birthright citizenship were ended, the first thing the corpos would do is replace as many US Citizen workers as they could with Immigrants, and increase the amount of immigrants until they could get a workforce of permanent non-citizens who cannot ever vote.
Smart people who hate immigration or who love democracy would realize that getting rid of birthright citizenship is a VERY bad thing. Our oligarchy would weaponize it real quick. The first people to be made obsolete would be the working class, including the White working class, ironically.
She's not really a good public speaker for one. Not a lot of charm or charisma. She's not good at schmoozing like Bill Clinton or Obama. A good presidential candidate needs that, and I think it's a big part of why Al Gore and Hillary Clinton lost. She can speak well in public sometimes, but at others she sounds flat, boring, and artificial.
Charisma is a big deal. Think about Reagan Democrats and how people to this day love Reagan even though facts and hindsight analysis show that he was a terrible president who was arguably the start of America's modern decline into horrendous oligarchy.
Recettear is something I recommend too, as it's really unknown for how good it is. You play as an item shop owner (who's a young girl) that has to make a profit from making and selling items, and there's a dungeon crawling elmenet too.
If Windows works fine for you and there's no issues, probably no reason to switch, honestly. If you want to try it, I'd say maybe start with virtual machines and then see if you want to dual boot.
It's easiest to transition to Distros with more Windows like UI's, particularly if you like to put app and game icons on your desktop. Believe it or not, a lot of popular Desktop environments (especially Gnome) don't allow you to without some major finagling.
I personally recommend Linux Mint with Cinnamon, Kubuntu, or ZorinOS to get started. Trust me, while playing around with different distros is fun at first, the novelty wears off and eventually you just want to log in and have it "just work". I spent a year on Mint w/ Cinnamon because it just worked for me.
Note that even if you switch, it's still probably best to dual boot as some things just won't work on Linux or is too time and energy intensive to be worth using on Linux. The opportunity cost involved makes doing some stuff on Linux just not worth it for most people.
Yep. And the people in charge know exactly what to do to divide us along racial / religious / political / etc. lines, and both parties are in on it. They know exactly what buttons to push so that the voting populace is divided 50 / 50 and can't unite to do stuff like make the economy fairer or save the environment.
Every time people start getting more socially liberal, the Democrats move further to the left, and every time their base gets comfortable with how extreme they're getting, Republicans move further to the right. The two party system is against reforms like ranked choice voting (which thankfully seems to slowly be getting progress) because they're not in the business of helping us, they're in the business of constantly "fighting" each other to look like they're doing something, when the real goal is to maintain the status quo or make it worse for us.
Aren't "Boomer Shooters" actually Millenial Shooters? That's who played them when they came out.
I also have the F310, and have had the same experiences as you. In addition to everything you said, the triggers are stiff and uncomfortable too. The only good things about it are that it's durable and that you can swap the d-pad and left thumbstick with a button press, and there's a d-input mode too.
The similarly priced 8bitdo Ultimate Controller (and probably the Pro2) is MUCH better and also has good customization software and a programmable autofire button. At least the non Xbox branded one does. Based on my experiences with the F310 I never wanted to risk buying the more expensive F710. Because the F310 with rumble + wireless capability doesn't sound like a good deal to me.
I'd rather spend less on somebody I know actually makes good (or "good enough") stuff, like PowerA or 8bitdo.
Well, don't you?

When step 2 intersects with capitalism, all the other stuff just naturally follows. Sure there are people who legitimately want to help people (read an article about 2 Christians giving up their high paying jobs to spend their time making affordable housing for the poor and indigenous people) but they're increasingly becoming the minority.
That said, money based religions are only one oppressive group that bands together for profit and control. Religions aren't much different than political parties (hence the smashup between many) and corporations, organized crime, etc.
Human nature, rather than being inherently good, tends to be inherently bad. Hence why most giant groups tend to be oppressive by nature. It's why I believe that there shouldn't be giant concentrations of wealth and power.
Not shocking. In addition to what everyone else's said, the create a character story mode is a feature I didn't even know I wanted from Street Fighter, and the simple control scheme for beginners is nice if I just want to mess around with a character without learning them in detail yet.
Look, sounds, feel, and style are all really great too. Big step up from SF5 in my opinion.
