That would be interesting if true, but I wonder if they'd actually be able to make it good. It's been a long time since they made an RTS, and a lot of their RTS developers have flat out left. They're not the same company they used to be.

I think there might be some hope of it being good though. Lately, Blizzard's been putting out better products. Diablo 4 for instance, and the new, positive changes for World of Warcraft, including the latest patches and Dragonflight. Seem to be making up for the missteps of Diablo 3 and Wow's Shadowlands.

Same strategy as Hitler, staged actors faking an attack as a reason to "counterattack". Not surprising. Russians are the real Nazis.

I don't know, but the LA Sherrif's Department certainly did. Which is why we kicked out Alex Villanueva and replaced him with Robert Luna. That was one satisfying vote, and I'm surprised Luna only won 60 / 40. I expected more like 70 / 30 at least. For a supposed "progressive" and left-leaning guy, Villanueva went full Trump really fast.

The real pain is that several sources seem to say that the Thousand Year Door is arguably the best Paper Mario. I missed out on it when it came out, so the only choice I have if I want to play it is to Monkey D. Luffy it. Which to be honest, I'll probably do.

It used to be called Bierstadt, for those who know that name and similar alternatives like Grandview, and the other contenders for next new font. I don't remember exactly how it looked, but I hope it's one of the ones where a capital I and a lowercase L look different from each other.

I used to like sans serif until I realized that serif fonts make text more readable and lead to less confusion. For instance, the L / I example earlier, and 0 (Zero) and O (Oh).

I agree. It's active, but not "holy crap it's overwhelming everything else in my feed" levels of overload.

It's funny because while it's probably named after the King (Muten Roushi wears a hawaiin shirt most of the time after all) the Japanese have equivalent words and characters that mean something different (Turtle Clan Wave). Probably a funny coincidence that Toriyama found.

Not shocking, gaming studios love to screw voice actors over, especially the ones where they just need dubbers for a foreign language game. Hell, dubs in general (in the US at least) love to screw over voice actors. They also love to rush out dubs as cheaply and quickly as possible with very little focus on quality.

Which is why some voice actors sound totally different (and worse) in dubs compared to how they sound in regular native-language english voice acting.

Read that Crunchyroll (a very shady company) fired a voice actor from a main role just because he asked them to consider speaking to a union. Didn't threaten them or join a union, he just asked them to think about maybe allowing their actors to discuss unionization.

It's one of the many reasons why voice actors tell wannabe voice actors to consider another "job". It's not really a career, it's a hobby where you get paid sometimes for most people. To be fair, a lot of actors in general have that problem, but it's generally worse for Voice Actors, I've heard.

To be honest, I've always felt like ratings systems needed a "thumbs sideways" option. Like a "meh" or "it's okay" or even "it's kind of good, but has flaws that bring it down".

Youtube for instance really could use a thumbs sideways button. Many sites that show longer form artistic content that could have varying degrees of quality over time could also use it.

Looks like it's undownvoted, so probably a misclick. When the up and down votes are that close together, it is surprisingly easy. I mass downvoted a bunch of stuff earlier today before I caught myself and corrected it.

All of those mistaken downvotes were actually upvotes.

With Windows 11 apparently just flat out stealing good stuff from KDE, may as well just use KDE instead. Cinnamon is my #1 desktop UI, but KDE is my #2. Keeps getting better too, based on what I see on KDE Neon.
