Have you tried disc golf? You can pick up everything you need for $20. Virtually no interaction if you play by yourself. Other disc golfers are generally super chill. It’s fun to work on your technique and try to improve your score.

When I was growing up 30ish years ago, they implemented uniforms and said that it was to prevent bullying based on the clothes people wear. However, they failed to take into account the cost for struggling parents to maintain 2 sets of clothes. The policy got reversed after a few years.

Outside of this single act I’m no fan of Pence, but the man was under serious pressure and to acquiesce would have been the easy decision. Knowing that his life might be on the line, he did the right thing. I don’t think we should minimize this.
