I really hope we can figure out how to fix that issue quickly, but I don’t really see that happening.

The Texas model seems pretty good, like I’m willing to pay more for renewables. I actually already have elected to do so; when my utility was looking to add another hydro generator, I paid for “extra blocks of power” which were $15/mth. I got 2 for 2 years, so my electric is cleaner now than otherwise, not cheaper but cleaner. It was opt-in, but I’d be happy to have it as just a standard cost of upgrading, as well.

We are all in this together, let’s act like it.

Around my area, I have stony field organic probiotic yogurt. It contains whole milk, culture, vitamin d, and pectin, and nothing else. (Idgaf about organic, but I wanted full fat probiotic, zero sugar. It’s not cheap, but my instant pot has a yogurt setting so I can just make more.)

That brand may not be available by you, but if you look for a multi-probiotic yogurt (multiple strains; this variety has 6), you’ll be more likely to find something good, in my experience.

A really fun side effect of stuff like this is when you generate something that looks like a pencil sketch or something, you’ll often get partial pencils in the middle or upper corner of the image because they are quite often photod with pencils on them to indicate the medium.

So even something that simple is sort of poisoning the models. And if they all have that obnoxious signature or QR code, the generators are going to start including those and that’s just gold.

I read a thing about that yesterday and the responsible party is whomever sent up the junk in the first place.

Which translates directly to “get fucked, pleb.” Because, what? Is China or Russia gonna pay out for their crap breaking shit in Texas or Spain? Who’s at fault with international collaborations? Etc.

And the thing I read basically had that as a conclusion as well - good luck getting paid out, and your insurance probably won’t cover it either.

Those pivoted feet show they spent a lot of time on this rendition. I actually really like it. It’s a lot more interesting than just seeing a standard limp-dick standing silhouette.

I was off meds from 13-35, and… I don’t personally find them to be worth the hassle at this point.

They work, sort of, they help, sort of, but the side effects are rough at a dose that works, a dose without side effects does nothing, and I’m so used to making myself function without them that it’s not really worth it to me. They don’t give me motivation they just help me execute tasks, which… means a lot of times when I take them I’m just that much more focused on nonsense.

I have a back-stock of about 6 months (I stopped getting them filled about a year ago) and just take them when I have a specific thing I need to do for a specific day. With that use they work great.

I’d say it’s worth a shot, but also worth having realistic expectations. It might be life changing for you, or you might have an experience more like mine. Still useful, but not really a crutch.

My mom was an RN and spent time doing basically everything. She said her time in oncology, geriatrics, and hospice made her never want to treat cancer or undergo prolonging, because the chance of it extending the quality life was slim and quantity isn’t worth it when it’s miserable.

She died of cervical cancer when I was 23 (it was stage 3 by the time she went in for dx, so she knew something was wrong and chose not to do anything about it) and the only treatment she got was oxycodone and having me get weed for her for the intense nausea that comes from smoking cigarettes on oxycodone. She was in hospice though.

I, similarly, probably won’t undergo treatment if I am similarly afflicted, unless our treatments evolve from a toxic cocktail to something with more chance of working and fewer horrible side effects.

Such a fantastic series :) (the books, not any of the garbage adaptations)

This is why I just don’t preheat my oven for most stuff anymore.

I turn it on while I’m doing whatever needs to be done for the food and then throw it in whatever the temp. Add an extra 3-5 minutes to the timer, and call it good.

Not around me it isn’t..

They choo choo several times for each road crossing, of which there are 5 within earshot of my house. They run roughly once every two hours, including at night, and they do still choo choo at night.

These are freight and not passenger, though.

If life worked this way I’d be set.

But not like a rodent storing shit in cheeks..
