Hi, nice ship you got there. However the cropping is a bit too excessive. Ideally you should set up some structures on the surface and make a render of the ship in the context of ground colony, but even if not, sinoky including the surrounding map in the render would fit in more with the style of other renders, while a cropped one like this feels much cheaper and out of place. As per rule 2
Heres another ship with all the surrounding map, for example:
This is great on may levels, but my favourite thing probably is how you integrated those bits of greenery in the center, like its sort of chaotic bushes, and it looks very fitting and natural. Are those modded somehow or how did you do them? They dot seem to actually be natural because i dont see a lot of bushes in the biome around the colomy.
I lik how without vn zooming in the walls at the entrance are supr ark and defined compared to the rest, really gives it the fortified look.
Wow, the power poles are definetly making this sort of separae houses colony work. And alo he arrangement, the angled roads, its epic.
Skyrim belongs to the nords!!!!
As a person with weaker PC and some leftovers of sanity i prefer smaller amounts of colonists, but i still end up with large colonies by area. My solution for optimization is restricting colonists to their areas. They dont all need to cross the entire colony 2-3 times per day, they just get food, go to crafting station, then go to bed. Exception is haulers and construction/maintenance.
Its always a nice touch when the colony is surrounded by pools of blood and piles of skeletons. Feels very homey and lived-in.
Also, what's up with the embrasure walls and what seems to be curtains? Can those be WINDOWS? In rimworld? What herecy (mod) is this?
Thats actually a useful mod for me too
Explode on death you mean? xD
Wow, what a build, especially since it is a historical recreation. I only wish we had defensive walls for people to walk on top.
