I think a lot of GMs can honestly answer "yes" to that question, lol, so careful you don't turn the session into a discussion of their latest writing project (along with the writing projects of anyone else in the group who feels like talking about writing).

...unless that's your jam, in which case, go for it!

I mean, you wouldn't need to edit it at the end, and probably no one else would be reading it, so you could keep your standards low. Probably easier than writing a book, though possibly not as much fun.

Which I think is a little funny, since the restaurant only has one star.

That would be too much for your feed, I think. And a certain amount of redundancy from communities with overlapping content.

A lot of instances are just general-purpose, I think, so any philosophy is kind of come from who's there, which you wouldn't know until you got there. But I find the list of communities on an instance is helpful. If there are more than a page or two, it's probably general-purpose, but a smaller number will probably show the interests of the people already there.

Closer to "too many to count" than to a handful, but a lot are basically one person running an instance for themselves. Off the top of my head, I'd guess there are at least a dozen that are pretty big and active. Not all of them have "Lemmy" in the name, so you have to find them on one of the instance lists floating around, or just by clicking through to the local instance associated with communities you're following.

In case you haven't found out already: you need to search for it from your local instance (the search bar is located on your feed, or by your settings). Then, when that community comes up in search results (if it doesn't, try pasting in the URL rather than search terms), click through, and join from the sidebar. Or you could apply directly, I wouldn't worry too much about getting approved. I think that's often just a test to make sure bots are applying, rather than "are you good enough to join."

I have never tried a moisture wicking shirt under a binder, because I thought they didn't work if there was no airflow. Good to know they do! I know I have at least two lying around somewhere, I'll just have to see if I can find them before the weather turns again, lol.

Baggy clothes/sports bra does seem to be pretty good for hot weather, I just wish it looked good enough on me for social occasions, sigh. I remember considering a TomboyX product at one point, but I don't remember if it's what I actually bought. I took off the label, lol. My sports bra go-to is just cheap, front-close cotton fruit of the loom racerbacks, because I can just throw them in the washer if they get sweaty. It would be even cheaper if I got the plain ones instead of front close, but I get a suspicious-looking shelf from regular ones.

And yes, water! I totally don't forget to do that (spoilers: I totally do forget to do that, lol).

Thanks for the info! I can't say I've ever thought about chest density; what I mean by "floppy" is that the tissue seems to grow outwards and down rather than generating bulk, which makes it hard to flatten them without also lifting. But I also don't actually have to decrease my circumference to look presentable, so I might try tape. I think 10 cm is going to work better for me than 7.5, I am positive I'd get rollover with 7.5, lol. My go-to for taking adhesive off my skin is isopropyl alcohol, but oil would probably be better for my skin.

I dunno, I feel like any time when you can photograph the blessed blep is a good time.

Thanks! And no, lol, if this had actually happened to me, I probably wouldn't be alive to write about it. I would either have disappeared into the map myself, or been murdered.

But almost all the pieces are real things that have happened to me in other contexts. I have a quilting ruler that behaves in the way described, the "stairs are in the same place on different levels" thing is something that trips me up when reading maps of museums, and I have learned not to ink pencil sketches if I don't want to ruin them. If I ever did try to make a scale map of a dungeon, it would 100% be physically impossible, whether I meant to be evil or not. I just don't have the visual-spatial sense to get it right.
