It took me a bit of time to figure out what an llm is good at. Because for most tasks it's just a plain waste of time

Ehh, the word sounds odd but works. Batteries may be invented in some weird ways as of recent. That's just a part of the path towards inventing a good solution: not all ideas are going to be the best.
