@Alllo Yes, I asked, and it said yes, meaning it's indeed a real blog.

@Alllo I asked, "Is this a real blog?", and that's what I wanted to find out.

@Gaipacub You *can* make the image plugin to generate images of these built-in sizes (in this case, the landscape) in a banner-sized image by setting the width and height options, however the result will be stretched out. Also, implementing that function in an image generator that uses the T2I framework will require modifying the framework directly so that the generator will output images in that size.

Here's my remix of the plugin example that does that job: https://perchance.org/yydmr1f4kn#edit

@Alllo I also noticed that they have updated the advanced tutorial page a week ago.

@Alllo Yep, that is 100% correct, although they haven't been around for weeks (maybe for answering forums and stuff), but they still updating the official plugins to this day.

Perchance has been created since 2017 IIRC, and the AI Text Plugin has been created since September 2023 (see https://lemmy.world/post/5501680)

@mindblown Woah, this has to be the most commented post on this community, there's so much discussion poured around this very topic.

@mindblown My head was a little bit wobbling reading all the technical details about the image generation, but anyways, that's also kind of interesting, especially for this one...

I would like to see the progress on your generator though, just make sure to write the technical details maybe a bit more understandable for the less-into-AI-image people (like me).

You're welcome @mindblown! There are lots of examples and sources that can help you learn about creating Perchance generators, not just image generations:

https://perchance.org/examples (see the More Examples section)

@Alllo Every time I woke up, I immediately saw your post or reply at some time, then if I wanted to reply with that, I'll do that. Definitely will take a look at the code at some point and maybe transform it into my own entire generator 😄

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago (8 children)

Yeah, I also hope so 😊

Also @Alllo, the starter generator is pretty neat, just need some code refinements so more people that are new to Perchance can understand it better 😄

@Alllo Okay, since my account is on Mastodon, the messages aren't really visible to me. You might want to create a new account there and private mention me, or any other suggestions?

@Alllo You're welcome! And at this point, not only you've learned Perchance syntax, but you also learned more on how the syntax itself works. 🙂
