@Alllo There's a dedicated Generator List Template that you can use and customize: https://perchance.org/generator-list-with-stats-2-template#edit, and there is a searchable version too: https://perchance.org/searchable-generator-list-template#edit

@Alllo Technically it isn't just a view counter experiment but rather an "everything experiment" where I'll put something that's either experimental or really fun for people to mess around and think about them.

"have you tried to make one that gets the list of every perchance project and orders them all by Amount of Views?" - Not with every Perchance project, but I've tried a similar thing in my Generator Hub Collection page: https://perchance.org/the-generator-hub-collection

@Alllo "i like to then upscale images and then edit them with photoediting software when i find good ones :)"

Oh, same with me, I've recently done this on my The View Counter Experiment generator revival: https://mastodon.social/@BluePower/112072536618935063

@Alllo There are image upscaling software that you can download online, like this one: https://github.com/xinntao/Real-ESRGAN/

As for the upscaling API itself, there's not a single one yet.

@Alllo Oh, I've enjoyed making some backlight images with your generator, like this particular one that I really like:

@VioneT That might be the case, what could go wrong? 😆

As of what I can say, the new "save-after-reload" behavior is still a bit janky, considering that before it was implemented, the generator straight up saves but then the preview don't display the saved content in case auto-update mode isn't activated (except when the generator is created for the first time).

@Alllo Oh, what a unique style. Instead of a separate generator, you added it into an existing generator. I think you should add a label "Generate with Style:" next the style buttons in there, so it's clear enough what people really have to click on to actually generate images.

@perchance My generator hub page is loaded with a lot of imports and due to the "save-after-reload" behavior, it took some time to "reload" and save unlike my other generators that use less imports (such as the Popularity Achievement Generator: https://perchance.org/popularity-achievement-generator).

But sometimes the reload can took a very long time (like 30 mins), so I think I'll just have to see the network tab to make absolute sure that the generator is actually saved 😆 (if anything seems to be wrong once again)

@VioneT "By ‘failing’ to save, the button didn’t resolve to the disabled ‘saved’ button state, but it added a revision?"

Yes, either the save button displays the "error" or stay in the "save" as it's not saved.

@perchance The picture below is a screenshot I took a few days ago.

And one more bug I want to point out, every time you click on the save button, the save function will be executed (so if you click two times, it'll be run two times), making the revisions list clogging up with multiple saves from the exact same moment (see the revisions list in the image).

Please someone ping the Dev so they'll notice about this, I'm on a different platform.

@Alllo It's cool, I noticed the "similarities" to the "dots" effect on my milestone announcement page but this time it appears less often, one at a time, flies to another edge of the page without disappearing, and has an UFO kind of styled. They both fly around the screen, though.

I wonder if this could be used for like applying it on sci-fi-based generators to make them even cooler...

@Alllo I agree with this, although that's the reason why it's more naturally clickable than any other buttons, because the "main page" link used window.location and the others just used window.open('/something') to open links in a new tab.

In my opinion, the main page link should open in new tab when a generator's code has altered (that triggers the "save warning" when closing) but opens in the same tab when it isn't edited.
