Tips split with BOH absolutely would not average out over $30/hour for FOH in my opinion but I am only familiar with my state's restaurant economy, not Colorado's. Everybody having the same (better than average in this case) wage just makes it all the more easier to collectively bargain for a better one. At the very least, the restaurant industry needs "experiments" like this. I do think it's a net positive for workers in the long game on the condition that this level of openness to change continues. Foundational changes like this set the precedent that you can make foundational changes like this.
This is what Noname is talking about when she says she doesn't want white fans at her shows. They just take anything in black culture and make a total farce of it, which diminishes its power as a rebellious force.
When people say shit like this I always wonder what their last 3 ex-partners have to say about them. Like if they consider this behavior so rotten they have to tweet scold about, in what ways are they rotten that we don't get to know about?

It's also basically a post-apocalyptic setting. The rest of the world except for Canada, Sweden, and Japan is Fallout. Like despite all the evil capitalism, the main reason the world is a disaster is because there was a nuclear war, which for me really distracts from any sort of capitalist critique because I'd imagine any system dealing with those material conditions is gonna end up having horrors.
I won't have any explaining to do because no one will ever inquire into me like that because no one gives a shit, that's part of why I don't vote! Completely alienated! And then after sitting here alienated and alone, the only attention I get is scolding from these guys? Why the fuck would anyone ever find that attractive or convincing?
