I promise this question is asked in good faith. I do not currently see the point of generative AI and I want to understand why there's hype. There are ethical concerns but we'll ignore ethics for the question.

In creative works like writing or art, it feels soulless and poor quality. In programming at best it's a shortcut to avoid deeper learning, at worst it spits out garbage code that you spend more time debugging than if you had just written it by yourself.

When I see AI ads directed towards individuals the selling point is convenience. But I would feel robbed of the human experience using AI in place of human interaction.

So what's the point of it all?

After I installed the software earlier today my mouse lost the ability to right click, middle click or side click. I disabled the device in the compatiblity section on my computer and functionality was restored, but if there's a fix I'd like to know.

Hey I've been using Connect for a while with the Amoled theme. Nothing makes me enjoy the app quite like a pure black background.

With the new release, the background of posts in the feed and comments in the post is not amoled black but dark theme black. The sidebar menu is also affected. This was incredibly jarring and I don't know how I can go on like this.

Hey I was just wondering if anyone had experience streaming NFL games that happened last week to catch up? I use Kodi for streaming if that helps. I already have Fen, Seren, and The Crew add-ons

Hi I've been using a Pixel 7 and recently I've found that I cannot use volume buttons while in this app. As soon as I exit the app I can use them. If I click an image to preview I'm able to adjust volume but not on a post or while scrolling. Any solutions welcome
