I mean, I have it installed but that's not what I'm using.
I am using distrobox with podman as it's backend. It works quite well.

I mean as cliche as this seems to be an an answer, I think the best solution is to not try them in the first place. You can't lose if you never play the game.
There are many valid reasons outside of a sitewide protest for a subreddit to go from public to private, so Reddit doing this is a scummy move on more than just one level. Just one more reason why free alternatives like lemmy are superior.
I can get behind this, but I wouldn't mind if they forced me to wear skirts though.
