This reminds me of an episode from the show Electric Dreams, on Amazon Prime.

Google search has been going down gradually year by year for the last decade for me. My searches have now devolved to just having google search Reddit, like most people now. I recently started using Brave and I liked that it was recapping information for me. DuckDuckGo has been hit or Miss. I’ve started seeing people me toon SearX, which I need to try.

I wish there were a search engine that prioritized searching through places like Reddit, stack exchange, Quora, etc. vs the random clickbait websites trying to sell Amazon links.

Blocking the feddit.de domain does nothing for me. I get daily new stuff from there on my feed. Blocking the individual magazines does help, but it’s now just become a part of my daily routine to block them.

Transistor is close to cyberpunk, if you’re into indie top down view games.

As an update from our previous convo. It looks like I am still receiving content from Feddit.de after blocking the domain

I’ve read that writing by hand helps commit things to memory better (not sure if that’s true or not). My wife and I will write each other cards by hand for holidays, and it’s very apparent to me how much I’ve learned to rely on auto correct for many things at this point. I’ve noticed how much less my brain is working when I am just texting. As others noted it’s also useful in certain fields to carry a notebook around for meetings or events rather than relying on a phone or a laptop. I’ve also noticed the longer I go without writing, the worse my penmanship gets.

It will die down soon, once the main migration finishes.

From what I’ve learned in the last week, it seems like they abused their mod powers in some of the subs they were on. Someone at Reddit probably used all the chaos to get rid of them now, when many people had been complaining about them for a long time.

Oh I would much prefer bins over magazine. That is a great idea.

Can this be done on mobile?
