Why should companies be allowed to magic up a fake example of their product actually working, and sell that to customers, when the real product doesn't actually work yet?

The way Apple does things is insane, but they weren't selling iPhones yet.

I don't know if I would say "weird". I think it is unusual. Shouldn't they have been going to class? Why was the principal in charge of delivering textbooks? How often do textbooks need to be delivered anyway?

That said, many of the executives who ran cable TV into the ground have jumped ship to streaming, and are repeating many of the same mistakes without having learned much of anything from history or experience.

Why would anyone hire these people?
