The privatization was the point, SpaceX is the culmination of what started in the 70s so trying to give relative praise to SpaceX's achievements here is literaly the Obama self-medal meme.

What are you talking about?

You don't need to watch a whole doc to learn that Japan still goes whaling.

Let me clarify. The Ottoman Empire was founded in 1299. Should I review the history of the Ottoman Empire going all the way back to 1299? If I should not go all the way back to 1299, how far back should I go?

I just thought it was bizarre that the girl's mother suspected that her daughter had lied about her age.

Jones said he and the girl “had talked at the gym” and that “she had identified herself as an 18-year-old” before performing oral sex on him in the Benton Post Office parking lot.
...
He also admitted to never asking to see the girl’s ID, even though he had been formerly trained as a police officer to confirm people’s ages by doing so. The girl’s mother said she suspected that her daughter might have lied about her age to attract male attention, and the mother added that she didn’t want Jones to go to jail over the sexual relationship with her daughter.

what the fuck

Even if the legislation falls short of the ambitions of its supporters, however, it does hold promise for furthering community trust in police by promoting what’s known as procedural justice. In simple terms, procedural justice is the perception of fairness in interactions with authority such as traffic stops.

So, not actual fairness?

I need to make time to study what happened in Palestine after WWII, but I know I will have to dig through a mountain of propaganda.
