Thunder is great. I also like Summit.

Just switched to FreeRDP.

Edit: FreeRDP on macOS isn't exactly nice.

Call me crazy, but I usually like to install Apple's San Francisco Pro Display font

Edit: For Qt and GTK apps obviously, not for the terminal. I prefer JetBrains Mono there.

Another edit: Apparently there also a monospaced version of SF Pro. Just realized that it's the default in the macOS Terminal app. There's even a version with ligatures and Nerd Font symbols: https://github.com/shaunsingh/SFMono-Nerd-Font-Ligaturized

Ordered one yesterday, didn't know about the wAP ax. But honstly, I find it really ugly and it doesn't fit my use case, as I need to mount it on the ceiling. I want someting as close to a Ubiquiti AP as possible, and I think the cAP ax fits those requirements pretty well.

Btw if you're still looking for an IRC client, check out Goguma. It's a better, more modern looking alternative to Revolution.

I'm glad you like it. Consider making a post about your experience so far having switched from iOS to GrapheneOS. The community likes these kinds of posts. Don't hesitate to use screenshots, etc.

Thanks, wasn't aware of this

Oh that's pretty unfortunate

I fully agree.

Probably also a good opportunity to mention that BerryBase also lets you pick up your stuff at their Berlin Adlershof location. Never tried it though, I don't live in Berlin.

I recommend Geizhals, it's a German price comparison website, but there is also a UK, Austrian, and Polish version. Not only does it show you the website where a product is the cheapest, but most of the stores listed there are also European, so it's a win-win situation.

We have some pretty nice online stores for PC hardware here in Germany, for example Mindfactory or Caseking. If you're looking for electronics in general, check out Conrad Electric, Reichelt Elektronik or Pollin Electronic. BerryBase is focused on Raspberry PIs and other DIY electronics stuff. Sertronics, the company behind BerryBase, also operates another online store called Tecgarden, which is more focused on consumer electronics.

I'm looking into setting up Mastodon instance for myself on a very minimal cloud server. To save resources on that box, I'd like to run the web interface on my own server at home, and only have the Mastodon backend running on the VPS. Is it possible to completely get rid of the web interface and only access the instance through the API? What's the best way to achieve this? Does anyone have experience with this, or do you know any useful resources?

beaconDB is a drop-in replacement for MLS, which uses the same format request that's used by Mozilla's Ichnaea.

The source code is available on Codeberg: https://codeberg.org/beacondb/beacondb

You can contribute to the project by using an app like NeoStumbler (GitHub) or Tower Collector (GitHub) to submit location reports. NeoStumbler does Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GSM, while Tower Collector can only do GSM cell towers. Both are FOSS and available on F-Droid.

It is also recommended by the GrapheneOS project: https://grapheneos.social/@GrapheneOS/112759509558471713

Just keep in mind that it's still in relatively early development, which is why it really needs contributions.
