By enforcing a rule that says apps on the app store cannot have an external paid app store. So that's why you download FN on sideload instead of the store.

Effectively the end goal is to make adblocking in chrome hard/complex enough that the masses don't use it. What Google doesn't want is what is effectively a one click solution to adblocking. Anything else is unrealistic and unobtainable and they know it.

So by forcing users to use a version that can't be updated daily/hourly you're already making it so you can't block YouTube ads which as of recent require regular list updates.

Or by forcing users to have two extensions or an extension and an external process to download lists you're adding a step that most users won't bother trying to do.

If Google can cut adblocking to 30% of the current user base then that's a huge win for them.

What I'm trying to say is that it's not entirely correct that Google is trying to "end adblocking" but rather their effort is to reduce it significantly within the products they control.

Honestly I don't blame them but I don't think we can be blamed for switching browsers either.

Netplan makes more sense for the desktop then it does for a server because yaml is UI friendly. For the server it just adds an unnecessary level of complexity.

It's made with potato, but also flour, egg, water... Then boiled in water....Like all pasta.

DS9 dabbled into politics in ways the other series never did, to the point of a culture conflict, war, genocide, oppression, occupancy, etc.

Mint never worked well for me, would regularly fail to load the data from my bank and sometimes it would even create duplicates.

I just use a spreadsheet now. Pretty much all banks have an export feature, i setup a column with category dropdowns

Like all chemicals you ingest - for max effect take them on an empty stomach and then eat at least a moderately sized meal afterwards.

If you take them on a full stomach then your body needs to process all the food first, and your body will process the edible slowly.

If you take them on an empty stomach and never eat, your body might not metabolize it quickly either.

Another one-

When you're at something social in a large group setting and done talking to someone you don't have to let it linger and get all awkward.

You can just say "hey this was a nice chat! I'm going to go talk to other people now!"

It's that simple. And that's a totally normal way to end a conversation that people will react well to and appreciate. You can jazz it up "eg let's do this again/how can I contact you/" but the basics don't change.

I used to over think everything to the point of paralysis and get real awkward and anxious. Now I just communicate what I want directly but politely and it works out much better.

Probably one of the best games I ever played. I came for the visuals because I finally got an RTX card and stayed for the halflife vibes.

It's the closest thing I've played to OG halflife. You get that similar feel of isolation and heroism, a lot of WTF is going on, some weird entity that is omnipresent, great gun play and action, and is almost entirely indoors. Story is more robust like HL2 evolved the genre.

yup like this guy former Idaho Senator Larry Craig - staunch opponent of LGBTQ+ rights caught cruising for dick in a public bathroom. To be clear, the problem isn't that he was doing gay stuff, but that he was a hypocrite about it and was clearly projecting his own insecurities into law.
