Let me know when we get one. In the meantime, enjoy your thick, glue riddled, pizza sauce

What? That's just stupid, like I'm not remotely claiming they are intelligent, but to dismiss their utility completely is just idiotic. How long do you think the plug your ears strategy will work for?

Pick any model that has come out this year and ask if my example query or any similar daily curiosity you would Google, and show me how it gives you "thick, glue riddled, pizza sauce". Show me a single gpt 3.5 comparable model that can't answer that query with sufficient accuracy.

if AI is answering, yes.

You're being obtuse. You don't need nuance in trying to figure out what size collar you should buy.

Yeah, why not? I'll go ahead and make that suggestion.

What? Do you understand what I'm asking? Do you understand what you're suggesting?

I mean, the terminal allows them to ctrl-c, ctrl-v a simple solution developed by someone else, even if that someone else didn't bother to build out a GUI for applying their changes.

So googling how to do someone, copy/pasting command is better than finding it in GUI? How high are you?

The convoluted steps they would have to take to achieve the same effect with a GUI would seriously hinder the GUI-only user.

Again a solved problem, just make a decent GUI for your application.

Because what are you gonna do? Not fly?

Are you suggesting users with no programming experience can simply add the flags they need to a terminal application but would be unable to do the same with a GUI because the GUI is the barrier? Not the logic and that the program will do with the flag, but the GUI is the barrier?

What are you saying?

The last thing I googled is how to measure dress shirt size. Do you need context and nuance for everything you Google?

Do you prefer to click on the seo optimized first page results that are full of ads and read through a nonsense article about elegance in formal wear just to get to the instructions on where to place the measuring tape on your shoulder? I MUCH prefer the AI summarized response.

Most of the Internet is NOT intellectual writing, it's blog spam to answer your daily curiosities and practical needs. A sufficienty trained model is a really good (and environmentally friendly) alternative.

They won't, and I'm saying Google knows that their Advertising cash cow is running out of milk.

what about x?

You're right, Iran is a religious ethno state and you're smart enough to recognize that as a bad thing, but when it comes to literal Jewish ISIS (Israel), you have to make an exception.

Don't bring up other countries I didn't defend, I'm simply asking you to make a case for Israel to be built as a Jewish supremacist state on land already lived on by a majority non Jewish native population, forcing the ethnostate to genocide them just to exist.

Make a case for Israel that isn't "Europeans felt guilty for the Holocaust so they declared Jews are allowed to Holocaust anyone and gave them Palestine"

That is not a conclusion that can be reached from: Israel government almost devolves but is saved by a vote to bomb a foreign nation explicitly to piss off Trump and detail his negotiations with Iran?

Israeli society is sick and genocidal, "Bibi" (why are you using the fascist's favorite pet name btw? Leave they for the fascists) is not the sole problem.

What case can you make for a religious supremacist ethnostate where they shoot children in the knees for sport?

Ad supported articles is a dead industry, Google realizes this better than anyone. People don't go to the source anymore to answer curiosities, why would you read a whole article to answer a simple question when AI gives you the answer directly?
