... That's what we call the dwarf.
The word "dwarf" derives from the Old German word "dwurf" which has evolved in German to "Wurf" and is equivalent to the English word "throw".

I have had mixed success with "folks this isn't a trap or puzzle or very interesting. We can just skip ahead".
One group was like mind blown they could ask to fast forward when they were bored. Another isn't really fond of the tool.
I ask "any objections to cinematic fast travel?" And then I just go "you arrive at your destination".

You can always play the Lotr music from any random travel scene with an image of relevant biome with an analog countdown clock with 20 secs superimposed on the image
With an abrupt loud buzzer once the countdown reaches 1.

Funny story. I once had an unlocked door that opened towards the players. They needed to pull it to open it. It stumped them for so long. Eventually one of the players decided to examine the door. There were a lot of facepalms.

I actively call busting down doors “lock picking”. My monk is basically the lock picking lawyer.
