I was distracted by other games so rewound this to watch the TD. I would have expected FSU's defense to be better
I had this one on upset alert a couple weeks ago, but ironically I think the injury improves FSU's chances of winning...
But I have been saying all day to never go against 5-6 teams at home. Plus, Swamp Voodoo^TM^. Go, orange team!!!
Our interests align this evening, Longhorn. Also, my wife dislikes Tech more than she does UT.
I found the botched fake amusing, but was amazed so many players continued to play through sustained whistles. Seems dangerous to me. I wonder if anyone had made tackles if that would have resulted in penalties
I think ESPN is sweetening the crowd noise some, but that did sort of feel like people on both teams just didn't hear the whistles.
Well, shit. If Florida ends up losing this one, the "spit-cident" is going to join the cleat-yeet in infamy.
Can't say I've heard spitting called as a penalty before, but this is the team that brought us the cleat yeet so they are always a wild card
FSU calls a TO to avoid delay of game... that is a mistake. I will die on the hill that you should almost never use timeouts on offense. They need to be saved for defense and/or the end of the game

What a mess
The team plays hard for Billy, but one of the biggest things he HAS to do, and which should be within his power, is to cut down on the absolutely baffling mental mistakes that infect every game.
His Louisiana teams seemed fairly disciplined. Is this just a Florida thing that I'm too Texan to understand?
Maybe a little. The big three teams all built their reputations on flash and swagger rather than "process" to some degree, more than, say, the Mack Brown Longhorns or the Switzer Sooners or certainly the Saban Tide.
This team just does dumb shit though, like spitting and multiple substitution fails throughout the season.

I know better than to assume it will last, but I am HEARTILY enjoying seeing FSU struggle for as long as it lasts. This game, more than even UGA or UTK, is the one.
