I played Wizardry 7 and 8.
8 was hard to find, even when it first came out, because SirTech collapsed in the effort to complete it. It was nice to have a conclusion to the series that was satisfying.
Tabletop, DnD, board games, and minecraft. Also Animal Crossing.

Isn't it on Steam?
I don't know; Steam wasn't really a thing when they came out and I had to special order it from a local software store and nag them for weeks until a copy finally showed up.
i really like wizardry
the old ones are bastard hard though
Fellow old who has played Wizardry. Can confirm it's super tough, and I've only dabbled with the easier console ports. Scratch the itch though if you want an old school DND inspired dungeon crawler.
I heard Wizardry II was a role reversal where you're playing the defeated bad guy from Wizardry I and have to fight your way out of a dungeon from the bottom upward. And yes I heard it was bastard hard.
There was a screen in the video of a game of on the PLUTO system 🤔
What does OP mean by this?
Edit: my thought is that I’m going to play 1 and 2 because the video pitched it well and I like the premise of 2 as pointed out by UlyssesT
I... may not have noticed the PLUTO system.
