Fiesta: Texas vs. Tulane

I'm not going to complain about Texas in a non-CFP NY6 bowl (although I would feel slighted in that scenario), but Tulane as the G5 is a wild prediction. I'm not sure they make it through UTSA, let alone SMU (who I am predicting will be the AAC champ).

I really don't know who it will be, though. I guess it could be Liberty, but the CUSA is hot garbage. SMU/UTSA, UNLV, and Troy/JMU (curse you, NCAA) are all more deserving than Liberty/NMSU. Mayyyybe even Toledo.

Also, these projections imply ou is the runner-up in the Big XII if they're in the Alamo bowl which is bonkers. Although... the NY6 isn't really about deserving teams but rather brand names, so it would not surprise me if Mizzou gets shafted to get another blue blood in there.

I don't think these rankings have a lot of merit, like I said, I just think they're neat and volnation is in doom and gloom mode so they are mostly talking about Joe vs Nico as a starter for our 2 remaining games.

Dec. 28 Fenway BC vs. USF

I’ll take it! One, it means we beat Charlotte tomorrow. But two, one of the other projections was USF vs. UCF in the Gasparilla Bowl. Hard to make a bowl less exciting than having it in your normal home stadium against a conference opponent you’ve played every year for the last decade

Regardless, I’m fuckin stoked that coach Golesh has gotten us to even 5 wins. The last 3 years under Jeff Scott, we won 4 games total.
